Talent Acquisition Specialist

DuraServ Corp•Coppell, TX
•Onsite

About The Position

DuraServ is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is a proactive "hunter" of talent, operates professionally, and prioritizes every open role. This is not a passive recruiting role; DuraServ operates across eight U.S. regions, and filling critical positions like commission-based sales representatives, commercial door and dock technicians, and branch leadership is essential for service delivery and revenue generation. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for your assigned roles, from strategy and pipeline development to offer acceptance. You will actively build pipelines, engage passive candidates, collaborate with hiring managers, and secure top talent before competitors do. This role requires a full-cycle TA professional who owns the entire process.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience, encompassing all steps of the recruitment process.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting commission-based sales professionals, including understanding their profile, compensation structure, and closing techniques.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume, multi-requisition workload with discipline and urgency.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting skilled trades, field service, or technical roles.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Background in industrial services, field service, or construction-related industries.
  • Experience with campus or trade school recruiting programs.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools beyond LinkedIn, including job boards, industry networks, social platforms, and creative outreach channels.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain active talent pipelines for high-priority roles, including commission-based Outside Sales Representatives, GC Sales Representatives, Residential Sales Representatives, and Commercial Door & Dock Technicians, even before requisitions are opened.
  • Source candidates aggressively through various channels such as job boards, LinkedIn, social media, trade schools, referral networks, campus events, and direct outreach to passive candidates, rather than relying solely on inbound applicants.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in all candidate interactions, representing DuraServ as an employer of choice in competitive markets.
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle using ADP Workforce Now, including job posting, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing feedback, extending offers, and ensuring candidates are ready for Day 1.
  • Partner with hiring managers as a strategic advisor, setting expectations, managing timelines, providing market feedback, and addressing process delays.
  • Fill roles with urgency and precision, aiming for under 40 days for priority positions.
  • Manage high-volume workloads across multiple open requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and an excellent candidate experience.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness, and quality of hire.
  • Stay agile and adapt to shifting priorities, role scope changes, and urgent openings without losing momentum.
  • Support campus recruiting events and job fairs, representing the Talent Acquisition team with energy and professionalism.
