About The Position

WE Transport Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for the entire recruiting cycle, from initial contact and screening to onboarding. This role involves educating applicants on training programs, coordinating with the Safety and Training department, and building relationships with managers to understand staffing needs. The specialist will also liaunt with various agencies, provide status updates on recruiting activities, and maintain candidate relationships through their onboarding and initial employment period.

Requirements

  • 2-4 year’s experience in high volume recruiting.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is strongly preferred.
  • Results-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills; excellent problem-solving and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work activities, use time efficiently, complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner, and follow up on assignments with a minimum of direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.
  • Experience using Microsoft office products and Workday ATS.
  • Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Experience with Video Meeting Tools such as Teams.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking or HR Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire recruiting cycle, including contacting, phone screening, scheduling, interviewing, making candidate offers and ensuring all onboarding is completed.
  • Educate applicants on our training for specific positions and coordinate with Safety and Training department to schedule training.
  • Works closely and builds strong working relationships with managers and leaders across the organization to understand current and future needs.
  • Coordinate with various for-profit and not-for-profit local, state and employment agencies.
  • Provide weekly status updates and reports about open positions and recruiting activities to managers and leadership.
  • Follow up and maintain a relationship with candidates through onboarding, training, and the first day of employment.
