About The Position

Ovative Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support their recruiting team and candidates. This role will be the first point of contact for candidates, acting as the face of the Ovative brand. The Specialist will collaborate closely with Senior Recruiters on daily recruiting operations and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the recruiting process through AI, automation, and a focus on efficiency. The position is based in Minneapolis, MN and requires permanent US work authorization.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of work experience demonstrating ability to deliver significant impact.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple roles, candidates, and stakeholders with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and comfort learning new tools (e.g., Workday, reporting tools, AI platforms).
  • Experience using Excel/Sheets or similar tools for basic tracking, reporting, or analysis.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication with candidates and internal partners.
  • Demonstrated commitment to DEI.
  • Permanent US work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage portions of full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, focusing on early-career and junior positions.
  • Post roles and manage applicant flow.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone screens.
  • Coordinate interviews and debriefs.
  • Manage candidate communication and scheduling.
  • Maintain an excellent candidate experience that reflects Ovative values and inclusive culture.
  • Ensure Workday data and pipelines are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Partner with Sr. Recruiters and TS leadership on offer letter preparation and pre-onboarding logistics.
  • Support university/early talent and other volume pipelines, including campaigns, events, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Quickly learn and utilize current tools and workflows (Workday, calendaring, assessments, templates).
  • Identify manual, repetitive tasks that can be streamlined and propose solutions.
  • Help create and maintain playbooks, SOPs, and quick-reference guides for new processes and tools.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying what's working, what's not, and proposing practical solutions.
