About The Position

Johnson Electric is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will be based in Vandalia, Ohio, and will focus on leading recruitment efforts for production and manufacturing roles at the Vandalia facility. Additionally, the specialist will support professional, technical, and corporate hiring across multiple U.S. locations. The position also involves contributing to strategic talent acquisition projects aimed at enhancing recruiting effectiveness, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, skilled trades, engineering, supply chain, or professional positions.
• Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and sourcing skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and customer service.
• Experience using Workday Recruiting or another Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting high-volume hiring initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of employment laws and recruitment compliance requirements.
• Experience with direct sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, and talent pipelining strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing, skilled trades, technical, and professional positions.
• Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates using a variety of recruiting channels and sourcing strategies.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting plans, provide market insights, and deliver top talent.
• Coordinate interviews and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Prepare and extend employment offers and support pre-employment activities, including reference checks.
• Maintain accurate information in Workday and ensure compliance with company hiring processes.
• Support hiring events, workforce planning initiatives, and talent acquisition projects.
• Analyze recruiting activity and identify opportunities for process improvement and increased hiring efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other HR-related projects as assigned.
