About The Position

Madison Core Labs is a state-of-the-art full-service independent clinical laboratory, and we are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our amazing team! We are passionate about what we do and delight in providing excellent service that will make positive changes in the lives of those we serve. Position Summary: We’re seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with outstanding people skills to join our team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll work to attract excellent job candidates, conduct interviews, and identify future hiring needs. This position is a remote work from home position with an occasional in-person meeting at our Huntsville office. You’ll need a wide variety of skills to succeed as a Talent Acquisition Specialist: excellent communication skills, knowledge of social media best practices, and superb multitasking skills, among others.

Requirements

  • Proficient with applicant tracking software, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Phone system
  • Working knowledge of employment law, both state and federal
  • [2+] years experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment

  • BA/BS in human resources, business, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify employment needs and candidate requirements
  • Work with department managers to develop job descriptions
  • Share job descriptions through posting on various recruitment databases, social media, and online employment forums
  • Monitor applications and conduct phone screenings and interviews with suitable candidates
  • Evaluate applicant knowledge and skills, along with work experience, to select the strongest candidate for the position
  • Conduct background screenings as required
  • Prepare employment offers, answering questions as needed, and scanning in returned paperwork
  • Assist in onboarding new employees
  • Promote employee retention
  • Provide hiring and retention reports to management as needed
  • Must have a quiet area in their home environment in speaking with candidate and conducting interviews
