About The Position

Primera is expanding its infrastructure across the Country and is seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its HR team. This role will lead recruiting efforts, partnering with the SVP of Human Resources and internal hiring managers to proactively source talent through networking, headhunting, searching, and connecting with passive candidates. The specialist will be instrumental in creating first impressions for Primera and will be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for attracting and finding qualified individuals who are enthusiastic about joining a diverse team. Requirements

  • At least six years of recruiting and proactive sourcing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (human resources, business administration, or another relevant field).
  • Skilled in recruiting: verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Skilled in Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with various sourcing tools and methods – such as CRMs, social media, job boards, and Boolean search.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other relevant HR software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in business email writing.
  • Ability to quickly develop strong, strategic, and positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to identify issues and make recommendations for appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Ability to organize workload.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting efforts.
  • Partner with the SVP of Human Resources and internal hiring managers to understand recruiting specifications and strategies.
  • Proactively source for talent by networking, headhunting, searching, and connecting with passive talent.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and recruiters to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, such as online platforms, referrals, events, and databases.
  • Screen and qualify candidates based on their resumes, skills, and fit for the role.
  • Conduct initial phone or video interviews and assess candidates’ interest and availability.
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers and recruiters.
  • Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Research and keep up-to-date on market trends, best practices, and competitors’ strategies in talent sourcing.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness and outcomes of talent sourcing.
  • Handle administrative supporting tasks associated with being a Talent Specialist, including reporting on recruiting activities and processes and scheduling phone screens and interviews.
  • Develop and post job ads.
  • Maintain the candidate database.
  • Connect with people by building and nurturing long-term relationships with candidates and talent communities.
