About The Position

Primera continues to grow to support infrastructure growth across the Country. To support our on-going expansion across the US, we are looking for a highly-motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. You'll lead our recruiting efforts. Partnering with our SVP of Human Resources and internal hiring managers, you'll proactively source for talent by networking, headhunting, searching and connecting with passive talent. You'll have a hand in creating first impressions at Primera and immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of the HR department. The right candidate must possess a passion for attracting and finding qualified candidates who will be excited to join our diverse team.

Requirements

  • At least six years of recruiting and proactive sourcing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (human resources, business administration, or another relevant field).
  • Skilled in recruiting: verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Hands-on experience with various sourcing tools and methods (e.g., CRMs, social media, job boards, Boolean search).
  • Familiarity with other relevant HR software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in business email writing.
  • Ability to develop strong, strategic, and positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and keep things moving forward.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting efforts, partnering with the SVP of Human Resources and internal hiring managers to understand recruiting specifications and strategies.
  • Proactively source for talent through networking, headhunting, searching, and connecting with passive talent.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and recruiters to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, including online platforms, referrals, events, and databases.
  • Screen and qualify candidates based on resumes, skills, and role fit, including conducting initial phone or video interviews and assessing interest and availability.
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers and recruiters.
  • Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on market trends, best practices, and competitors’ strategies in talent sourcing.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness and outcomes of talent sourcing.
  • Handle administrative tasks associated with being a Talent Specialist, including reporting on recruiting activities and processes, and scheduling phone screens and interviews.
  • Develop and post job ads.
  • Maintain the candidate database.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with candidates and talent communities.
