Baxter and Woodman, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in our Bannockburn, Crystal Lake, or Naperville, IL offices. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing full - cycle recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers, HR leadership, and external partners to ensure a seamless hiring process and a positive candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding. Requirements

  • 2+ years of full cycle recruitment experience.
  • Ability to travel to Baxter & Woodman�s regional office locations required (own transportation).
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Manages full - cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the selection process.
  • Partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop job descriptions, and create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Sources candidates using a mix of traditional and innovative methods, including job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, career fairs, and community partnerships.
  • Uses the applicant tracking system (ATS) to identify and engage passive candidates for open roles.
  • Conducts initial candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment.
  • Coordinates interview scheduling, hiring team communication, and candidate follow - up to ensure a smooth process.
  • Maintains accurate and compliant candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Builds and maintains talent pipelines for critical and hard - to - fill roles.
  • Collaborates with external staffing agencies and recruitment vendors as needed.
  • Supports the offer process by preparing offer letters and communicating compensation, benefits, and employment terms.
  • Coordinates pre - employment screenings, including background checks.
  • Ensures recruiting practices comply with federal and state employment laws, including EEO and affirmative action requirements.
  • Assists with employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns to enhance visibility and attract high - quality candidates.
  • Provides data and insights on recruiting metrics, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Supports HR projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition and workforce planning.
