About The Position
Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is passionate about healthcare as a right and committed to providing high-quality care. This role involves more than just filling vacancies; it focuses on finding individuals who align with Neighborhood's values. The specialist will stay informed about job market trends, analyze recruitment successes, and build local partnerships, finding fulfillment in connecting community members with rewarding careers at Neighborhood. The position is primarily based at the Northwest location in Buffalo, with regular travel to other Neighborhood sites.
Requirements
- Associates degree
- 2-3 years’ experience in talent acquisition, preferably in healthcare
- Fundamental knowledge of human resources
- Mindset for sourcing and engaging talent
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow through
- Kindness: you treat each person with respect and compassion, valuing each person’s story
- Resiliency: you see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges arise
- Teamwork: you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals
