About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who is passionate about connecting exceptional people with meaningful careers. As a strategic partner to hiring leaders and HR Advisors, you'll play a key role in attracting the scientists, engineers, trades professionals, project managers, technical specialists and corporate professionals who make SRC's work possible.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Five or more years of progressive HR experience, including significant full-cycle recruitment experience.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems and AI-enabled recruitment technologies.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and organizational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple recruitment projects while delivering an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring leaders.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and finding innovative ways to attract top talent.

Nice To Haves

  • CPHR designation or working toward designation is preferred.
  • Experience recruiting professional, technical, scientific or industrial positions is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment from workforce planning through onboarding.
  • Partner with leaders to develop tailored recruitment strategies for technical, scientific, operational and corporate roles.
  • Source exceptional talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, AI-enabled recruitment tools and innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism and relationship-building.
  • Develop engaging job postings and recruitment marketing content that showcases SRC as an employer of choice.
  • Represent SRC at career fairs, networking events, campus recruitment initiatives and community outreach activities.
  • Coordinate interviews, offers, references, relocation support and onboarding activities.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives by translating future talent needs into recruitment strategies.
  • Champion equitable, inclusive and accessible hiring practices while supporting Indigenous recruitment initiatives.
