About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as a strategic recruitment business partner responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent for sales and other salaried positions across IPG North America. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle. The Specialist proactively develops pipelines of active and passive candidates, leverages market intelligence to identify transferable and high-potential talent, and partners closely with business leaders to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with demonstrated success hiring sales professionals and other salaried positions.
  • Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and other advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions and partner effectively with business leaders.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, candidate assessment methodologies, and selection processes.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, recruitment analytics, and sourcing tools.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based collaboration tools, including video conferencing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary talent acquisition business partner for assigned sales organizations and other salaried business functions across IPG North America; Develop recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned requisitions including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding coordination.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, industry associations, social media platforms, talent communities, and direct outreach to passive candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies, define candidate profiles, establish selection criteria, and provide guidance on best hiring practices.
  • Evaluate resumes and applications, conduct in-depth phone and video interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and present highly qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Recruit for a variety of salaried positions, including sales, business development, operations leadership, finance/accounting, human resources, engineering, supply chain, customer service, and other corporate functions as business needs require.
  • Utilize labor market data, competitive intelligence, and recruiting analytics to advise hiring managers on talent availability, trends, and hiring strategies. Partner with the compensation team on salary grades, job levels, and market intel.
  • Ensure all requisitions are properly established and maintained within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including job postings, candidate dispositioning, compliance requirements, and reporting.
  • Coordinate and manage candidate assessments, interview scheduling, travel arrangements, and all communications throughout the hiring process while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Facilitate the offer process, including compensation recommendations, offer preparation, negotiations, background screening coordination, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Partner with Human Resources, hiring managers, and business leaders to ensure successful onboarding and transition of new hires.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support initiatives that enhance quality of hire, time-to-fill, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Promote and strengthen IPG's employer brand through professional interactions, networking activities, recruiting events, and social media engagement.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws, company policies, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity requirements.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
