Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist - Nursing
About The Position
Vanderbilt Health is the region's largest comprehensive academic health system with eight hospitals and over 180 clinics. This role is within the HR Talent Acquisition team and focuses on sourcing, screening, and delivering qualified, diverse applicants, particularly in nursing. The specialist will determine effective sourcing methods and identify creative strategies to attract talent, working under occasional guidance.
Requirements
- Prior clinical sourcing experience is required.
- Nursing sourcing experience is strongly preferred.
- Documentation (Intermediate)

- Interviewing (Intermediate)
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
- Source external passive candidates using various resources and/or creative methods.
- Create search strategies and identify potential talent from the candidate database.
- Post positions via internet; run advertisements; organize and attend job fairs; review employee referrals; social media, etc.
- Determine most effective sourcing method and identify creative strategies to attract talent.
- Conduct phone screens to pre-qualify all candidates for interview consideration.
