Empower’s Talent Acquisition team is focused on delivering best-in-class sourcing strategies and services to our organization. This is a temporary role supporting high-volume hiring within our financial services teams. The Sourcer will source, screen, and interview qualified candidates and have responsibility for creating a pipeline of talent. The scope of this role ranges from cold calling and networking via all means to conducting interviews to gauge a candidate's business acumen, intangible skills, and cultural fit. As the candidate's first encounter with Empower, you will need to represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm. You will show initiative with sourcing methods, be detail-oriented, communicative with recruiting partners, hiring managers and leadership on your sourcing efforts, and act as the face of Empower's brand. You will need to be flexible with shifting priorities, have a thirst for continued learning of the business goals and technical aspects of each team, as well as have an ability to be independent to run with a wide range of tasks. Flexibility is critical in this role as some days you might be focusing on sourcing and other days might be filled with interviews and candidate interactions. Staying organized and agile is crucial for success at Empower.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years recruiting or sourcing experience in a corporate environment or search firm
  • Deep knowledge of sourcing methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional interviewing, communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen to be able to comprehend business needs and structure.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions, tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, business partners and candidates.
  • Team player and positive attitudes are a must.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, an ability to multitask, strong attention to detail and be able to work autonomously.
  • Experience sourcing at scale via events, continuous pipelining, and other methods
  • Experience sourcing for niche roles in a just in time manner

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Consultants and Hiring Managers to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies, aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals.
  • Identify potential candidates through the use of creative sourcing methods, beyond LinkedIn Recruiter, including Boolean, x-ray searching, competitive mapping, etc.
  • Call, screen and qualify candidates.
  • Gain Knowledge of the business we support.
  • Drive deep partnerships with the business and Talent Acquisition including understanding business priorities, technology roadmap, etc.
  • Provide an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience
  • Full-cycle recruiting as needed to meet the needs of the business
