Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Summer Intern

AIP ConnectToronto, ON
Hybrid

About The Position

At AIP Connect, we don’t believe in "commoditizing" talent. We’re in the business of authentic conversations and human connection. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Intern for the Summer 2026 season who is eager to go beyond the resume and learn the "refreshingly different" way we match remarkable brands with exceptional people. This isn’t a "coffee-runner" internship. You will be embedded in our daily operations, mastering the tech stack that powers modern recruitment while shadowing the conversations that define executive search. Term: Summer 2026 (End of May – End of August) Location: Toronto, or Ottawa, Ontario

Requirements

  • High EQ: You understand that recruitment is about people, not just keywords.
  • Tech-Savviness: You’re comfortable navigating new software and keep your digital files organized.
  • Discretion: You will be handling confidential candidate data; integrity is non-negotiable.
  • Growth Mindset: You aren't afraid to ask why and are ready to receive (and act on) real-time feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and updating candidate profiles to ensure data integrity.
  • Moving candidates through the funnel, from New Lead to Hired.
  • Review applications through the ATS.
  • Manage our passive candidate pools.
  • Drafting personalized outreach messages that reflect AIP’s authentic voice.
  • Building Talent Pools for key roles we are headhunting for.
  • Mapping out competitors and industry innovators to identify passive talent.
  • Manage complex interview calendars and coordinate across time zones.
  • Draft client-facing candidate summaries and presentations using Docs and Slides.
  • Maintain real-time trackers in Sheets to ensure no candidate falls through the cracks.
  • Reaching out to industry leaders to verify candidate impact.
  • Transcribing and synthesizing feedback into professional reports that help our clients make informed decisions.
  • Observe high-level behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Take detailed notes on candidate "fit" and skill gaps.
  • Participate in post-interview debriefs to learn how we evaluate culture-add vs. culture-fit.
