Aptiv is seeking an energetic and relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This position plays a key role in attracting, hiring, and onboarding talented employees who help advance Aptiv's mission of supporting individuals with disabilities throughout Wisconsin. As Aptiv continues to grow, this position will support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce development efforts across various locations throughout the state. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will manage the full recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, source qualified candidates, and guide applicants through the hiring process. This role will build and maintain talent pipelines, represent Aptiv at job fairs and community events, develop relationships with colleges, universities, technical schools, and workforce development organizations, and promote Aptiv as an employer of choice throughout Wisconsin. In addition to recruiting responsibilities, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter will lead and facilitate virtual new employee orientation sessions via Microsoft Teams and Zoom on a rotating schedule for employees across Aptiv locations. This includes presenting information related to Aptiv's mission, culture, benefits, policies, safety requirements, and employee expectations while ensuring a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. The position will coordinate onboarding materials, track completion of required documentation, and collaborate with leaders to support employee success from day one. This role will also support Aptiv's internship program by maintaining relationships with educational institutions, assisting with intern recruitment and onboarding, and helping create meaningful learning experiences that support future workforce development. As a member of the HR team, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter will assist with a variety of human resources functions, including employee communications, recordkeeping, reporting, compliance activities, employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, benefits administration support, and other HR projects as assigned.
