The Role: In this meaningful role, you will be instrumental in attracting, sourcing, qualifying, presenting, and hiring candidates for our early career programs and seasonal internships. Success in this position requires a balance between operational excellence and a strong focus on both client and candidate satisfaction. Collaborate with business partners: Discuss talent trends and hiring performance, using data to drive accountability and process improvement. Partner with hiring managers: Experience with driving engagement and hiring strategies with business partners. Ability to gain an understanding of business unit objectives and job requirements and drive a hiring plan to find and attract the right talent across internal, external, and diverse talent channels. Lead recruitment projects/initiatives: Participate in and help lead recruitment projects and initiatives. Build high-trust relationships: Foster trust within our university community, business partnerships, and with hiring managers. Experience working with universities, events, and organizations to help drive and expand business strategies. Advocate for candidates: Market Fidelity, present roles, prepare candidates for interviews, answer questions, extend offers, and communicate status to ensure successful onboarding. Ability to operate as a career advisor and exhibit recruiting expertise. Collaborate on sourcing and hiring efforts: Drive change through working with others to identify and plan sourcing and hiring strategies. Define mutual success: Set expectations for timeframes and recruiting efforts to provide a positive experience for candidates and clients. Ability to develop and act upon a recruitment / hiring strategy. Assist candidates in career navigation: Help candidates identify appropriate paths at Fidelity and navigate opportunities. The Team This role reports to the Director of University Talent within our University Talent Team. Each year, we hire over 1,200 interns and recent graduates. In this role, you will build relationships with candidates and business partners to ensure a positive hiring experience. Additionally, you will provide input on the development and enhancement of recruiting strategies, sharing your enthusiasm and expertise in attracting and acquiring top talent with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive recruiting lifecycle experience: Demonstrable experience in sourcing, qualifying, assessing candidates, networking, understanding market trends, and managing relationships across leadership and individual contributor roles.
  • Agile mindset: Comfortable delivering talent in an iterative and collaborative environment, utilizing tools like Mural and Teams.
  • Sourcing techniques: Proficient in identifying passive talent, building talent pipelines, generating referrals, and diversity recruiting.
  • Candidate guidance: Subject Matter Expert in helping candidates identify suitable career paths at Fidelity and navigating opportunities.
  • Detail-oriented: Exceptionally thorough with the ability to maintain momentum in a dynamic, high-touch business environment.
  • Multitasking abilities: Strong ability at prioritizing tasks and working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Communication skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage at various organizational levels.
  • Recruiting tools proficiency: Expertise in leveraging recruiting tools and techniques to identify and engage potential talent, ensuring ongoing talent pipelines (e.g., Workday (ATS), proprietary prioritization files).
  • Staying informed: Keeps abreast of sourcing best practices and emerging tools/technologies, introducing or piloting new solutions when appropriate.
