About The Position

Shane Co. is building a new regional Talent Acquisition model for its stores and is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead this initiative across the East region. This role involves partnering with Store Managers, identifying top talent in local markets, and representing the company within the community. It is a relationship-focused position, emphasizing building connections rather than just processing applications. The role offers the opportunity to shape a new recruiting model, provide direct input to leadership, and work remotely with regular in-store and community presence. Shane Co. is a family-owned jeweler since 1929 that invests in its employees.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience with a proven track record of proactive relationship-building.
  • Experience representing an employer brand externally through job fairs, industry associations, community organizations, or campus partnerships.
  • Specific examples of building and sustaining a talent pipeline ahead of open need.
  • Experience advising hiring managers and senior leaders with market data and a point of view, including the confidence to push back when a request works against a strong outcome.
  • Warmth, presence, and polish to represent a fine jeweler in high-visibility settings.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and competing priorities, paired with consistent follow-through.
  • Working knowledge of an applicant tracking system and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Must live in Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, or Minnesota and within 50 miles of a Shane Co. store.

Nice To Haves

  • Retail or multi-site hiring experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience welcome.
  • In-house, agency, and field recruiting backgrounds are all considered.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring store roles (jewelry consultants, sales leadership, customer service, operations) across the region.
  • Engage strong candidates before requisitions open and nurture relationships over time.
  • Identify and understand passive talent, including their motivations, strengths, and career aspirations.
  • Represent Shane Co. at job fairs, industry and community events, and university partnerships, and develop local recruiting initiatives.
  • Enhance Shane Co.'s employer brand on professional platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor.
  • Spend time in stores to understand the business, teams, and market-specific hiring needs.
  • Lead structured intake conversations with Store Managers, field leaders, HR partners, and senior leadership to understand business needs and align on hiring strategies.
  • Develop proactive sourcing and recruiting plans based on market-specific staffing needs.
  • Provide market intelligence on talent availability, competitor activity, and compensation trends to inform hiring strategy.
  • Offer informed opinions on candidates and market conditions, and suggest alternatives when necessary.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, engagement, assessment, interview coordination, selection, offer management, and onboarding follow-through.
  • Ensure a timely, honest, and personal candidate experience at every stage.
  • Clearly communicate Shane Co.'s culture, career paths, and expectations to candidates.
  • Lead and support hiring events and store-level recruiting initiatives.
  • Balance priorities across multiple markets while ensuring consistent follow-through.
  • Maintain accurate candidate, pipeline, requisition, and activity data in the applicant tracking system and other systems.
  • Utilize recruiting data to improve pipeline visibility, reporting, and hiring decisions.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance recruiting efficiency while maintaining a relationship-first approach.
  • Facilitate hiring-related training for store leaders as needed.
  • Share best practices, market observations, and recruiting insights with field and HR leadership.
