About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Partner manages full-cycle recruitment for entry-level, technical, scientific, high-volume, and professional roles across various business segments. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop targeted sourcing strategies, assess candidates, and support timely hiring decisions while delivering a positive candidate experience. The role also contributes to employer branding, recruitment process improvements, and talent pipeline development in support of current and future hiring needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors' degree in human resources management (or related field) preferred.
  • 4-6+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Workday knowledge a definite asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, including the ability to prepare clear correspondence and communicate effectively with employees, candidates, and hiring managers.
  • Familiarity with job boards, HR software, ATS platforms, and recruitment databases.
  • Experience conducting phone, video, and in-person interviews.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, hiring best practices, and recruitment compliance requirements.
  • Experience partnering directly with business leaders and hiring managers.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies, talent pipelines, and networking approaches.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and recommendation skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, reporting, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, discretion, and judgment.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and proactive in anticipating client needs and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment from intake through offer acceptance for entry-level, technical, scientific, high-volume, and professional roles.
  • Execute sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate assessment, selection recommendations, and offer processes.
  • Maintain candidate engagement and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute targeted talent attraction strategies for assigned requisitions.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and critical roles.
  • Achieve hiring manager service expectations through timely communication, follow-up, and recruitment execution.
  • Develop strong relationships with business leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and priorities.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment approaches, service expectations, and realistic timelines.
  • Provide market-informed recommendations on candidate availability, hiring challenges, and recruitment options.
  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion.
  • Use sourcing tools, talent mapping, networking, and market research to identify active and passive candidates.
  • Share relevant market intelligence to support sourcing strategies and hiring decisions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within the ATS.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment legislation, company policies, and hiring best practices.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide hiring insights to business leaders.
  • Support recruitment process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.
