Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 - 4 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting or talent acquisition
  • Experience recruiting in a high-growth SaaS or technology company, where priorities shift and multiple roles run in parallel.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent Placer professionally to candidates.
  • A collaborative, team-based mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
  • Strong organization and follow-through, with rigorous attention to detail in managing a pipeline, correctly tracking and classifying roles, and keeping offer paperwork and ATS records accurate and current.
  • Familiarity with modern sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever).

  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to work more efficiently—whether professionally or personally—and a curiosity for finding new ways to apply them.
  • Comfort integrating generative AI into day-to-day workflows to boost productivity, quality, and output.

Responsibilities

  • Source qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels, building creative outreach that gets responses.
  • Review inbound resumes and screen candidates, carefully advancing those who most closely match the role requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interview loops, keeping the process moving quickly and efficiently.
  • Manage a healthy pipeline of early-, mid-, and late-stage candidates across multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Provide weekly pipeline updates to your business partners and key stakeholders, and keep the ATS accurate and current.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates to create a positive, high-touch interview experience and represent the Placer brand.
  • Act as a consultative partner to hiring managers and HR business partners, including Director- and VP-level leaders, to refine role requirements, calibrate on candidates and ensure the full cycle process follows outlined SOPs and SLAs.
  • Become a subject-matter expert in Placer's product, industry, and market so you can speak credibly with candidates.
  • Support the broader People team with recruiting-adjacent projects and administrative work as priorities shift, bringing the same care and follow-through to the smaller tasks as the big ones.
