About The Position

We are looking for a TALENT ACQUISITION PARTNER to join our Atlanta, GA team. As a Talent Acquisition Partner you will partner with our varying lines of business. This role acts as a key contributor and partner to our operations leadership. Aligning with business leaders, front-line managers, and human resources to drive business strategy and staffing needs for continual business growth and development. This individual is a contributing member of the broader National TA Team and will support building common practices, engaging in multiple recruitment and talent acquisition projects as we continue to elevate Talent Acquisition as a standardized and centralized Center of Excellence across the broader Quikrete companies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of recruitment or HR experience, preferably in professional (passive search required roles) or construction industry
  • Experience in multiple applicant tracking systems is ideal
  • Ability to partner with hiring managers in a collaborative way to achieve shared outcomes
  • Must thrive in working in a dynamic, fast-paced, high volume, team environment
  • Must be willing to work on-site 100% of the time in our Atlanta, GA market
  • Experience in the construction, construction materials, or commercial driving industry is ideal
  • Experience building diverse candidate pipelines and engaging underrepresented candidates
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 5% (primarily within region)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and support Talent Acquisition and Human Resource teams in the full cycle recruitment preboarding process in a high volume recruitment environment.
  • Maintain application tracking system (ATS) and e-onboarding to ensure real time updates are made to candidate and requisition statuses.
  • Partner with hiring managers and TA Partners to schedule interviews as needed.
  • Manage pre-employment assessments, documenting and communicating results effectively.
  • Correspond with external candidates regarding applicant process and other general questions.
  • Own pre-employment check process including scheduling and ensuring completion of background checks, drug screens, and physical exams.
  • Oversee the new hire pre-boarding process including gathering new hire information, clearing new hires to start after completion of background activities and ensuring completion of pre-employment documentation.
  • Prepare new hire paperwork handoff for timely transition to HR and payroll teams.
  • Run general reports and compile metrics as needed.
  • Maintain a positive candidate and manager experience throughout the preboarding and onboarding process.
  • Maintain compliance in all areas of hiring, to include E-verify and I-9 processing.
