About The Position

The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This role involves developing, facilitating, and implementing all phases of the recruitment process, collaborating with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria, and identifying and implementing efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. The Recruiter will also assist with job posting and advertisement processes, screen applications, select qualified candidates, schedule interviews, and oversee the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Additionally, this role will assist with the interview process, attend and conduct interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders, and collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. The Recruiter will collect and analyze data to maintain current statistics for recruiting practices such as time to fill for positions, sources of successful candidates, etc., and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. The role may also involve attending and participating in college job fairs and recruiting sessions, adhering to internal standards, policies, and procedures, and performing special projects and completing other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted
  • 2+ years’ experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources certification (ex: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRMSCP)
  • Experience recruiting for a fast-paced EPC firm in the power delivery industry
