About The Position

Econolite is looking for an accomplished and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Partner to shape the talent that drives our continued growth. Reporting directly to the Vice President of People & Culture, this role owns the full recruitment lifecycle and delivers an exceptional, high-touch experience for candidates and hiring managers. This is an opportunity for a hands-on recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and knows how to turn business needs into effective talent strategies. You will build trusted partnerships with hiring leaders, engage exceptional candidates, cultivate robust talent networks, and manage multiple priorities with focus and momentum. Serving as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers and business leaders, you will develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies for technical, professional, operational, manufacturing, and leadership positions. Your work will help Econolite attract high-caliber talent across intelligent transportation systems (ITS), traffic management, technology, engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, corporate, and related disciplines. The successful candidate combines deep full-cycle recruiting expertise with outstanding stakeholder management and a data-driven mindset. Through proactive sourcing, talent-market intelligence, meaningful recruiting analytics, process improvement, and employer-brand initiatives, you will elevate recruiting excellence and build the workforce behind Econolite’s mission to create safer, smarter, and more connected communities.

Requirements

  • Five to eight years of progressive, full-cycle recruiting experience, including responsibility for multiple concurrent requisitions.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting across technical, engineering, professional, operational, manufacturing, corporate, and/or leadership functions.
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and convert passive candidates through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and multiple recruiting channels.
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and build credibility with hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Excellent interviewing, candidate-assessment, negotiation, written communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, sourcing tools, and recruiting-reporting platforms.
  • Ability to use recruiting metrics and talent-market data to diagnose challenges, communicate insights, and drive process improvements.
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and customer focus, with the agility to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in intelligent transportation systems, transportation, technology, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, infrastructure, or a similarly specialized environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment—from intake and sourcing through selection, offer, and acceptance—for technical, professional, operational, manufacturing, corporate, and leadership positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to translate workforce needs into targeted recruiting strategies, realistic timelines, and effective selection plans.
  • Develop compelling job postings and proactively source qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, professional networks, direct outreach, and other relevant channels.
  • Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines for current openings and anticipated workforce needs.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates against role requirements, organizational values, and long-term potential while ensuring a consistent and engaging candidate experience.
  • Coordinate interviews, maintain timely candidate and stakeholder communication, and guide offer development, presentation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Provide hiring leaders with talent-market intelligence, compensation insights, candidate availability, and recruiting best practices to support informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, internal policies, and documentation standards.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate recruiting metrics—including time to fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health, offer acceptance, and hiring manager satisfaction—to identify trends and improve performance.
  • Represent Econolite at career fairs, networking events, university programs, and industry functions to strengthen the employer brand and attract talent.
  • Partner with engineering and business leaders to develop and manage internship and early-career programs aligned with future workforce needs in ITS, transportation engineering, software engineering, and related technical disciplines.
