Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of full lifecycle recruitment experience.
  • Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter for posting jobs, starting searches, sending InMail’s, maintaining projects, and keeping up to date candidate notes.
  • Comfortable negotiating candidate salaries, start dates, etc. when extending offers.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is extremely beneficial, but not a must.
  • Familiar and comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite on a daily basis (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of job requisitions across various functions and levels.
  • Source and engage with active and passive candidates, both local and remote, using platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and the Horizon Media Career Page.
  • Review employee referrals and partner with other Talent Acquisition members.
  • Lead candidates through the recruitment process, from initial phone screens to final negotiations and hiring.
  • Partner with hiring teams to ensure timely candidate feedback and manage sensitive conversations.
  • Prepare hiring teams and candidates for interviews by educating on process and best practices.
  • Influence and guide key stakeholders in nuanced recruitment situations.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to the Talent Acquisition and Interview process.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent candidate notes and details across platforms.
  • Provide biweekly reports to hiring teams on the status of open roles and candidates.
  • Ensure a positive and streamlined candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the greater Talent Acquisition team, sharing notes, brainstorming process improvements, and troubleshooting situations.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Leadership, Community Talent, & People Generalists on department staffing needs.
  • Partner with the larger Human Resources team on HR initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain close communication with hiring managers to ensure streamlined interviews and processes.
  • Manage up to Talent Acquisition leadership, escalating events as needed and seeking guidance proactively.
  • Participate in internal learning and development opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly Talent Acquisition meetings, sharing learnings and iterating on processes.
