About The Position

We’re looking for a driven Talent Acquisition Partner who can uncover, engage, and hire skilled field talent across oil and gas, survey, construction engineering, and telecommunications. This is a high-impact recruiting role for someone who loves the hunt, builds real relationships, and knows the best candidates are not always sitting on LinkedIn waiting to be found. At Vistal, you’ll help build the recruiting engine behind a growing portfolio of operating companies supporting infrastructure, energy, engineering, and technical services. Our teams work close to the field, close to our clients, and close to the communities we serve—bringing practical expertise and people-first partnership to work that matters. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a direct role in helping our operating companies grow by finding the technician talent that powers project delivery and business success. You’ll partner closely with leaders, understand the markets we serve, and build sourcing strategies that reflect how field and technical talent actually search for opportunities. If you get energized by hard-to-fill searches, creative sourcing, and connecting skilled people with meaningful work, this role gives you the chance to shape how Vistal reaches technician talent in competitive markets. You’ll have room to test new ideas, build trusted relationships, and see the results of your work in the teams you help grow.

Requirements

  • You have recruited technician, field, skilled trade, construction, utility, telecommunications, oil and gas, survey, or similar hands-on technical talent.
  • You know how to manage full-cycle recruiting while balancing multiple open roles and changing priorities.
  • You are not dependent on one platform—you know how to source creatively and build relationships in the market.
  • You are comfortable reaching out to passive candidates, earning trust quickly, and keeping pipelines warm.
  • You communicate clearly, follow through consistently, and build credibility with candidates and hiring teams.
  • You are persistent, curious, organized, and willing to roll up your sleeves to find the right people.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand what great talent looks like and where to find it.
  • Own the recruiting process from first outreach through offer, pre-employment steps, and onboarding.
  • Build active pipelines for technician, skilled trade, field, and technical roles in competitive markets.
  • Use creative sourcing channels beyond LinkedIn, including job boards, referrals, trade schools, technical colleges, workforce development partners, community networks, industry associations, social media, employment agencies, career events, and direct outreach.
  • Create a candidate experience that is responsive, respectful, and easy to navigate.
  • Bring market insights, sourcing ideas, and practical recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Support employment branding, career events, recruiting process improvements, and compliant hiring practices.

Benefits

  • 100% employee ownership, including an employer-funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and personal 401(k) options.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Company-paid holidays, paid time off based on years of experience, and paid parental leave to support work-life balance.
  • Growth and development support through tuition assistance, professional certification reimbursement, and talent development programs.
  • Wellness programs, flexible spending benefits, a dependent care account, an employee assistance program, and more.
