About The Position

Curtis Lumber is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join their Human Resources Department. This role focuses on recruiting talent for open positions, supporting retention initiatives, and leading the HR Recruitment team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting and the ability to develop effective talent acquisition strategies to ensure the organization hires the best possible talent. This position involves close collaboration with other HR department members, as well as company leadership and management teams.

Requirements

3-5 years of previous leadership experience in a Human Resources role.
Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar role.
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
Excellent understanding of recruitment processes.
Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.
Highly organized and able to manage time, projects and deadlines well.

Nice To Haves

Education in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or relevant field.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the HR Recruitment team’s day-to-day responsibilities in effective recruitment strategies, pre-employment process, and efficient onboarding process to ensure new hires’ successful integration into the company.
Challenge and develop direct reports’ performance, provide feedback, and hold them accountable to their goals and job responsibilities.
Prepare and present direct report’s performance reviews.
Develop and implement the organization’s talent acquisition strategy.
Collaborate with hiring managers to successfully develop recruitment strategies by understanding role requirements and desired candidate profiles.
Through strong partnership with leadership and management teams, identify current and future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
Manage the entire recruitment process, from defining job descriptions to managing the offer process.
Build, implement, manage, and maintain key recruitment metrics to evaluate and improve the recruitment efforts and hiring process.
Track and report on key recruitment metrics to evaluate and improve the recruiting efforts and hiring process.
Conduct job market and best practice research to ensure competitive hiring strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships by building the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, local colleges/universities, unemployment offices, etc.
Set-up informational booths at local colleges.
Implement new sourcing methods and maintain a network of potential candidates.
Provide direction and guidance to the recruitment team to maintain a strong social media presence.
Identify, sign up, and attend job fairs as well as organize and lead on-site job fairs.
Assist in maintenance of an application database/tracking system that retains and organizes applications/resumes for one year.
Build, manage, and maintain internship and exit interview programs.
Source, screen and interview potential candidates.
Other duties may be assigned.
