About The Position

The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of recruiters and onboarding coordinators who are focused on achieving the organization's recruitment goals. Acts as the leader in charge of the daily operations of a specific TA functional area. The TA Manager will work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition in developing effective recruitment and retention strategies. Works collaboratively with other TA managers in driving and executing these strategies and is responsible for measuring performance to push continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.
  • Management experience is required.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and leads the day-to-day activity of TA operations and effectively leads a team of recruiters to drive performance and achieve recruitment operational efficiencies.
  • Leads the team's workforce planning efforts by working closely with hiring leaders, the operations team, and HR partners.
  • Partners with senior leadership, business owners (VPs, Directors, and HRD/Ms), and the recruitment team to develop and implement recruitment strategies to directly drive staffing efficiencies and reduce overtime and agency utilization in the team's areas of responsibility.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for talent acquisition and serves as a consultant to both the recruiting team and the hiring departments on talent acquisition and HR-related matters.
  • Develops and executes creative strategies to build a strong talent pipeline within the team's areas of assignment.
  • Leads and drives process improvement initiatives for the talent acquisition department.
  • Works closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and execute recruitment branding and marketing initiatives.
  • Works closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and execute strategies to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Supports the execution of organizational and HR goals.
  • Prioritizes and effectively manages the team's areas of assignment.
  • Sources and recruits for senior leadership and specialty positions.
  • Manages and leads the day-to-day activities of the TA Candidate Experience Onboarding Coordinators team (CET-OB) by providing oversight, coaching, training, feedback, and performance management.
  • Drives the onboarding team's performance to reach key targets and goals.
  • Accountable for driving key team metrics related to efficiency (speed, accuracy, compliance).
  • Manages routines such as process compliance, weekly touch-base meetings, sharing of best practices, recognizing successes, etc., and ensures strict onboarding timelines and processes are enforced and met.
  • Accountable and responsible for all TA compliance, contracting and finance resources, governance, schedules, economics, risk mitigation, compliance with regulations and standards, as well as business continuity.
  • Designs, develops, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of highly innovative records/compliance and contracts solutions to meet complex business needs and support cross-functional transformation goals.
  • Assesses and identifies technical/procedural solutions to business, regulatory, and legal challenges.
  • Develops and executes records and contracts management strategies of extensive scope, extraordinary complexity, and organization-wide impact.
  • Leads teams in the definition, planning, execution, and enhancement of records and contracts programs.
  • Ensures alignment of TA contracts with overall organizational strategies.
  • Collaborates with other TA managers to ensure that process improvements, policies, and operational procedures are documented and captured for TA.
  • Engages with key business stakeholders (Risk, Compliance, IT, Procurement, Finance) to understand their needs and form highly productive relationships that are mutually beneficial.
  • Leverages those associations to present innovative solutions for the TA area.
  • Consults with TA teams and leadership, as well as business leaders, to help identify areas of opportunity and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Oversees TA finance and invoicing operations, including the management of various recruitment and retention programs.
  • Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
