US Talent Acquisition Manager

sunday•New York, NY
•$110,000 - $150,000•Hybrid

About The Position

As our Talent Acquisition Manager for the US, you won't just fill seats - you'll be the architect of how we grow, who we bring in, and what kind of company we become. Based in New York, you'll own full-cycle recruitment across our US markets - from Sales and Operations to Tech and beyond. You'll work hand in hand with hiring managers, the People team, and our leadership to build the talent pipeline that fuels sunday's next chapter of growth. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for someone who loves both the art of finding exceptional people and the science of making recruiting run like clockwork. You will report directly to our Talent Director and collaborate with international colleagues across France and the UK. You bring a proven track record of scaling recruiting in fast-moving startup environments - and you're ready to do it again.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-growing startups or scale-ups - you've operated in ambiguity, hired at speed, and never compromised on quality.
  • A proven track record of building and owning recruiting processes from scratch: pipelines, tools, reporting, and the trust of your hiring managers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you move without being asked, make decisions with incomplete information, and thrive with autonomy.
  • Strong sourcing skills well beyond job boards - you know how to reach passive talent and build relationships before you need them.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills: you can pitch our mission to candidates, navigate tough conversations, and align stakeholders across teams.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York, with the right to work in the US (we do not sponsor visas).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting across multiple US markets (New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles) and/or internationally (France, UK).
  • Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics dashboards.
  • Background in hospitality tech, fintech, or SaaS startups.
  • Experience coaching hiring managers on structured, unbiased interviewing.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment across the US - from intake call to signed offer - across all functions (Sales, Ops, Tech, and beyond). You flex across time zones and candidate availability without losing velocity.
  • Hunt for exceptional talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking events, universities, and unconventional channels - building a strong, diverse pipeline well ahead of business needs.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, not just an executor. Help hiring managers define role requirements, share market insights, coach interviewers, and align faster - so every hire is a great one.
  • Design and iterate on efficient, data-driven processes. Track key metrics (time-to-hire, funnel conversion, quality of hire) and use them to continuously raise the bar.
  • Ensure every candidate - hired or not - leaves with a positive, lasting impression of sunday. Timely communication, transparency, and a personal touch at every stage of the process.
  • Represent sunday at career fairs, industry events, and through social media and employer branding initiatives that make us the company top US talent wants to join.
  • Document processes, coach interviewers, and lay the groundwork for a recruiting team that grows with the business. You're building this, not just running it.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ($100K–$130K) and stock options
  • Free Vacation Policy - unlimited PTO
  • 100% Employer-Covered Health Insurance for you and your children
  • 401K Plan
  • A great office in the heart of New York, with a healthy in-person/remote balance.
