About The Position

As a Talent Acquisition Intern based at Rocket Lab’s Long Beach, California site, you will play a key role in supporting our recruiting efforts across multiple functions. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the full talent acquisition lifecycle—from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring initiatives. You’ll also gain exposure to People & Culture processes that directly connect to recruitment, giving you a deeper understanding of how we attract, evaluate, and onboard top talent at Rocket Lab.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate program in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources or related fields.
Must have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
GPA of 3.0 or above.
3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of recruitment.

Nice To Haves

GPA of 3.5 or above.
6+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of recruitment.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Powerpoint & Excel).
Strong time management skills and attentive to details.

Responsibilities

Support recruiting efforts across multiple functions.
Gain hands-on experience in the full talent acquisition lifecycle, including sourcing and screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
Support hiring initiatives.
Gain exposure to People & Culture processes that directly connect to recruitment.
Work closely with mentors and other employees within the department to apply knowledge and grow skills technically and professionally.
Work with a fast-paced group of professionals to apply industry concepts to solve real challenges.
Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.
Enjoy tech talks and network with other interns and employees through social and professional events.
