About The Position

AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to support high-impact recruiting efforts within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to full-cycle recruiting, candidate engagement, and talent operations while working directly with experienced recruiters and hiring leaders. The intern will play a key role in building candidate pipelines, coordinating interviews, and supporting critical hiring initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship, campus leadership, or work experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interest in aerospace, manufacturing, or high-growth environments
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn or other sourcing tools
  • Exposure to applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus
  • Experience working in fast-paced or team-oriented environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, resourceful, and willing to learn
  • Professionalism when interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, and interview coordination
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines across technical and non-technical roles
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement via LinkedIn, email, and phone
  • Schedule interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process
  • Assist in reviewing resumes and identifying qualified candidates based on role requirements
  • Partner with recruiters to track candidate progress and maintain ATS data accuracy
  • Support hiring events, career fairs, and on-site interview coordination
  • Help improve candidate experience through timely communication and follow-up
  • Assist with reporting and recruiting metrics as needed
