About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a vital part of the Talent Acquisition Team, with responsibility for providing support to the recruiting team and candidates to ensure a smooth pre-boarding and new hire onboarding experience. This position will be responsible for facilitating the recruitment process by providing administrative and logistical support to the recruiting team including scheduling initial phone screenings, coordinating on-site interviews, and assisting with the candidate process through to onboarding.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Recruiting or Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Human Capital Management software experience preferred, such as Workday or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates pre-boarding paperwork for new hires including offer letters, tax forms, direct deposit, I9 documentation and all necessary paperwork for onboarding.
  • Conducts background/social media/ motor vehicle/credit and additional checks through third party vendor for all new hires.
  • Schedules drug screening and physicals as needed.
  • Coordinates all pre-boarding activities for Recruiters to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to new hire.
  • Partners with internal recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates.
  • Prepares and updates job descriptions for external postings aligned to the hiring managers and business needs.
  • Partners with Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Talent Acquisition Partner, Hiring Managers and/or support staff to ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and accurate.
  • Participates in recruiting events, such as career fairs, preparing information packets, and gathering information from suitable candidates.
  • Successfully creates and executes sourcing strategies in partnership with our hiring leaders.
  • Creates and maintains meaningful reports that drive talent acquisition decisions.
  • Conducts phone interviews for Recruiters as needed.
  • Act as backup for New Hire Orientation as needed.
