About The Position

Talent Acquisition at Magellan is focused on sharing the unique brand far and wide, leveraging thought leadership in health care and networking expertise. This role is ideal for recruitment partners with exceptional ability to find and engage passive candidates, utilize market intelligence, and influence key business leaders. The position requires individuals to be digital citizens, using technology purposefully to communicate, find information, and develop effective solutions. A Super User of Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) technology is expected, utilizing it to automate candidate communication, encourage engagement, and improve the candidate experience. The role involves fully leveraging CRM methodology and technology to manage talent pipelines, work efficiently, and engage in new candidate sourcing methods, understanding that technology enhances results and differentiates Magellan. Additionally, the role requires being a marketer, understanding Magellan’s vision, hiring goals, and business needs, embodying and sharing the brand throughout networks, and communicating with empathy and business savvy. As a career coach, the individual will create authentic relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and colleagues, balancing hiring needs with candidate career goals, and managing conflicts professionally. A design thinker will construct talent acquisition strategies informed by market, industry, and labor intelligence to personalize candidate engagement and attract necessary talent. Finally, a data-based decision-maker will use data to ask questions, seek answers, gain insights, and help candidates, managers, and business leaders make informed decisions. Requirements

  • At a minimum, 3 years or more of recruitment/recruitment coordinator/HR experience and a bachelor’s degree OR 5 years or more of recruitment/recruitment coordinator/HR experience and an associate's degree
  • Demonstrated ability using CRM technology or sophisticated ATS technology.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and branding principles and how to effectively use them to hire talent.

  • Manage high volume recruitment and meet deadlines for hiring.
  • Attend career fairs and other hiring events.
  • Establish relationships and partner effectively with candidates, HR business partners, managers and peers.
  • Be flexible and work in a sometimes ambiguous and changing environment and able to juggle shifting priorities and manage time effectively.
