About The Position

Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Associate plays a critical role in delivering high-quality talent across the organization. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, providing sourcing support to the Talent Acquisition team, and leading community outreach efforts to strengthen the company’s talent pipeline and employer brand. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or related field.
  • 1 + years of professional talent acquisition experience (manufacturing or skilled trades experience preferred).
  • Strong full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Advanced sourcing and talent pipelining skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Experience with community outreach, workforce partnerships, or campus recruiting strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and insurance.

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to identify staffing needs, define job requirements, and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive efficient hiring decisions.
  • Evaluate candidates based on qualifications, cultural alignment, and future potential.
  • Optimize job postings and recruitment marketing strategies to attract diverse candidate pools.
  • Provide proactive sourcing support for other recruiters and team members across shared or high-priority roles.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, and networking channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles, especially within skilled trades, manufacturing, and professional positions.
  • Identify and engage passive candidates to support team hiring goals.
  • Share market insights, talent trends, and sourcing best practices with the broader TA team.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with workforce development organizations and community groups.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, hiring events, and community-based recruiting initiatives (in-person and virtual).
  • Support and expand initiatives like internships, apprenticeships, and grant-funded programs (e.g., Employ Milwaukee partnerships).
  • Strengthen employer branding efforts within the local community and talent markets.
  • Conduct background and reference checks, including education, employment, and criminal verification.
  • Coordinate and support onboarding activities (orientation, paperwork, communications).
  • Participate in projects to improve staffing processes, tools, and vendor relationships.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
