About The Position

The Take-Out role supports a positive guest experience by ensuring dishes are prepared and delivered according to guest specifications. The position involves inspecting plates, organizing and delivering dishes, maintaining the slide area and its supplies, and responding to guest concerns using the AIM approach: Apologize, Investigate, and involve Management. Lazy Dog describes its culture as caring and supportive of teammates’ personal and professional growth. At this location, pay is $12–$14 per hour, plus tips.

Requirements

Strong guest relations skills and a guest-focused approach.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to prepare thoroughly and pay attention to detail.

Ability to handle difficult situations and guest complaints.
Food Handlers Card for applicable locations in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, or Virginia.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect plates before delivery, verifying portions, presentation, and guest specifications.
Set up and stock products for each shift and maintain backup storage.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain the slide area, equipment, utensils, and tools.
Organize and deliver dishes to guests.
Address difficult situations and guest complaints through AIM: Apologize, Investigate, and involve Management.
Assist guests and provide strong guest relations.
Communicate clearly, prepare thoroughly, and focus on delivering accurate, high-quality service.
Multitask and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
