About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and professional Tagalog Interpreter for an active, community-based assignment in and around the Randolph, New Jersey area. This is a freelance (independent contractor) opportunity ideal for individuals who are fluent in Tagalog and English and enjoy supporting diverse communities.
Requirements
- Fluency in Tagalog and English, including spoken communication and comprehension.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Nice To Haves
- Prior interpretation experience preferred; community, medical, or social-services experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, in-person Tagalog interpretation for an active assignment in community settings, such as social services or local appointments.
- Facilitate clear communication between Tagalog-speaking clients and English-speaking providers.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics standards.
- Arrive on time and be prepared for scheduled assignments.
