About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to help protect people and property. The role calls for strong observation skills, the ability to anticipate risks, and the physical stamina to patrol throughout a shift. Work is at a site in St. Louis, Missouri. The posting lists a full-time second-shift schedule from Wednesday through Saturday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and a part-time third-shift schedule from Friday through Saturday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The hourly wage is $19.06.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully pass an extensive screening process.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Hold a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
