About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to identify threats before they escalate. The role involves monitoring screens and security systems in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses, while helping protect people and property. The position is located in Rockford, Illinois, and offers two full-time second-shift schedules: Thursday through Monday, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., or Tuesday through Sunday, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. The wage is $19 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended. Requirements

• Must have a valid Illinois PERC.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Must have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
