About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer for a site in Tigard, Oregon. This full-time role is scheduled Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., for 38.5 hours per week. The hourly wage is $22, and DailyPay is available to employees.

The role requires strong situational awareness, the ability to anticipate risks, and the physical ability to move around and patrol throughout the shift. Officers help protect people and property by monitoring sensitive areas, controlling access, responding to alarms and incidents, and documenting their actions. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully pass an extensive screening process.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
