About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Ambassador in Marion, Illinois. The role involves patrolling sensitive areas and remaining alert to environmental risks while protecting people and property. Physical ability is essential, as the position requires standing, walking, and moving throughout the shift. The employee must be armed or able to become armed and hold a FOID certification. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

This is a part-time position with a varied schedule; applicants must be available for each shift. The hourly wage is $20.50. A uniform is provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a state license if required.
• Have at least 3 months of consecutive security experience.
• Hold a FOID certification.
• Be armed or able to become armed.
• Complete a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is advantageous.
• Already having a PERC license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
