About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Tableau Systems Engineer to support the LANDMARK AOS program in Chantilly, VA. LANDMARK AOS is SAIC’s large Prime SETA program supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED). All candidates must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI with Poly to be considered for the position. As the Tableau Systems Engineer, you will combine hands‑on Tableau development with systems‑engineering advisory expertise to deliver mission‑impactful visual analytics across the customer’s Ground Enterprise. You will collaborate with system engineers, mission stakeholders, data owners, and development teams to design new dashboards, enhance existing ones, and provide technical insights that enable senior‑leader decision‑advantage. This role requires a blend of deep dashboard‑building skills, data‑analysis proficiency, and the ability to support enterprise‑level data visualization strategies in a SETA environment. Your work will enhance data quality, analytic rigor, and operational awareness for Government leadership.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy new Tableau dashboards that provide mission, programmatic, and technical insights across the Ground Enterprise.
Enhance and maintain existing dashboards, improving usability, accuracy, performance, and alignment with evolving Government priorities.
Assess and validate data sources, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and readiness for visualization.
Collaborate closely with Government stakeholders to gather analytic requirements and translate them into intuitive, high‑impact visualizations and data flows.
Evaluate dashboard architecture and dependencies, providing SETA advisory recommendations to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
Conduct data modeling, transformation, and integration tasks to support new visualizations and analytic workflows.
Perform testing, verification, regression checks, and quality assurance to ensure dashboards reflect accurate, mission‑aligned data.
Document dashboard logic, data pipelines, filters, calculations, and usage patterns to maintain analytic continuity.
Stay current with Tableau features, visualization best practices, and enterprise BI trends to guide capability enhancements.
Recommend improvements to strengthen analytic maturity, streamline reporting processes, and support leadership decision‑making.
