Tableau BI Lead
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead with strong expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and data warehousing. The role involves building scalable reporting solutions, developing dashboards, performing complex data analysis, and working with large-scale datasets using Tableau, SQL, Amazon Redshift, Teradata, and Excel. The candidate will lead analytics initiatives, collaborate with business stakeholders, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is a six-month hybrid position based in Bellevue, Washington. The role also includes guiding analytics teams, collaborating with business leadership on reporting and analytics strategies, and serving as the primary contact for BI and analytics engagements.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data warehousing.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis and performance optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau dashboard development, data visualization, and storytelling.
- Experience working with Amazon Redshift and Teradata databases.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and analytical data models.
- Experience creating automated reporting and business intelligence solutions.
- Ability to analyze complex business problems and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Exposure to cloud-based analytics environments and enterprise reporting platforms.
- Knowledge of data pipeline development and reporting automation.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytics and reporting initiatives, from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale dashboards and reports using Tableau.
- Write optimized, complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Work with large datasets in Amazon Redshift and Teradata environments.
- Develop automated reporting solutions and streamline manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with business, product, finance, and operations teams to understand analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Perform customer behavior, product performance, operational, and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Lead root cause analysis, trend analysis, and KPI monitoring initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting platforms.
- Mentor junior analysts and developers, conduct code reviews, and establish BI development best practices.
- Continuously improve reporting frameworks, dashboard performance, and data quality.
- Support stakeholder presentations and translate complex analytical findings into business recommendations.
- Lead and guide analytics teams on project execution and delivery.
- Collaborate with business leadership to define reporting and analytics strategies.
- Drive innovation through automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for BI and analytics-related engagements.
- Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
