About The Position

The Pit Clerk is responsible for printing and payout markers, tracking guest play and supporting the Table Games management team. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will directly report to the Table Games Floor Supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and how to use common office equipment.
• Basic typing skills.
• Basic understanding of gaming and regulatory requirements.
• Basic math, verbal and sorting skills.
• Basic computer skills and know how to post information to the databases.
• Ability to work any shift or hours.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed as required and that all items are balanced at the close of the shift.
• Attending to guests' needs and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensuring that all pit activity is performed in an orderly manner.
• Accurately posting ratings to the computer.
• Accurately posting and safeguarding the markers issued in the pit until they are transferred to the cage.
• Balancing activity concerning markers and fill/credits.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
