About The Position

Under the direction of the Pit Manager, the Dual Rate Dealer/Floor Supervisor is a cross-functional position authorized to perform both as a Table Games Dealer and a Table Games Floor Supervisor based on operational need. In the Dealer capacity, the incumbent is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and professional delivery of assigned table games while protecting the integrity of play and maintaining exceptional guest service. In the Floor Supervisor capacity, the incumbent assumes oversight responsibility for an assigned pit section, monitoring game activity, directing dealer performance, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations. Scheduling in each capacity is determined by business needs and is not guaranteed.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of table games dealing experience in a live casino environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all games currently offered at STRC, including but not limited to Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and applicable carnival games.
  • Familiarity with Title 31/BSA/AML compliance requirements and related training completion required.
  • Willing and available to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and external contacts. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and productive demeanor.
  • Sound working knowledge of Table Games internal controls, game protection procedures, compact requirements, and the Team Member Handbook.
  • Ability to identify and respond appropriately to common cheating techniques and advantage play scenarios.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability; capable of monitoring multiple games and guest interactions simultaneously.
  • Basic computer proficiency sufficient to access gaming system records, player ratings, and required documentation.
  • Move efficiently throughout the work area.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

  • Prior floor supervisory experience in a licensed gaming facility preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and support a culture of excellence at Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino by modeling STRC values, delivering exceptional guest service, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
  • Provide exceptional guest service throughout all interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, internal controls, and departmental policies, including requirements of the Gaming Commission and applicable state and federal authorities.
  • Deal assigned table games accurately and efficiently, maintaining game protection and the integrity of each hand, round, or roll in accordance with internal controls and game procedures.
  • Process cash transactions, fills, credits, and marker transactions accurately and in compliance with cash handling procedures and Title 31/BSA requirements.
  • Observe guest play for signs of cheating, scams, or irregular activity; promptly notify the Floor Supervisor or appropriate personnel of any concerns.
  • Promote property promotions, events, and the players club to guests; actively encourage enrollment in the rewards program.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn and deal additional game types as training opportunities become available; maintain proficiency across all games offered at the property.
  • Demonstrate dependability and reliability by maintaining regular, punctual attendance and consistently fulfilling assigned shifts and responsibilities.
  • Assume responsibility for all gaming activity within an assigned pit section; monitor games, guest conduct, and dealer performance on a continuous basis.
  • Maintain awareness of game standings with respect to player limits, rating accuracy, win/loss positions, and any special guest activity; escalate unusual or significant activity to management.
  • Provide real-time coaching and correction to Dealers in the assigned section to ensure accurate game delivery, compliance with procedures, and quality guest service.
  • Resolve guest complaints and service disputes at the floor level; escalate to management when appropriate.
  • Demonstrate dependability and reliability by maintaining regular, punctual attendance and consistently fulfilling assigned shifts and responsibilities.
