Table Games Dealer - Inexperienced, November Dealer School Included
About The Position
This position involves conducting assigned table games in accordance with established policies and procedures. The dealer will handle player transactions, manage disputes, and maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere. The role requires adherence to ACT standards, knowledge of gaming laws and regulations, and the ability to learn new games. A dealer school is included for training, with initial training in Blackjack being unpaid and subsequent game training being paid upon successful completion of Blackjack and an audition. The position requires the ability to work weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Proven dealer experience, or having successfully passed an audition on the assigned game(s) required.
- Basic knowledge of all casino and departmental policies & procedures required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities
- Protects and controls specific game assigned.
- Conducts the games in accordance with policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying the Floor Person or Pit Manager of any irregularities.
- Advises the Floor Person or Pit Manager of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
- Informs the Floor Supervisor or other more senior Table Games personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action.
- Utilize ACT standards at all times while maintaining a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere.
- Notify a Floor Person of any guest needs; i.e., cocktails, host service, etc.
- Keeps abreast of, and promotes departmental and property-wide promotions.
- Responsible to learn new games when provided appropriate training.
- Maintains current knowledge of gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Meeting the department standards for game pace while maintaining accuracy.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
