About The Position

This position involves dealing table games, with a specific training program included for inexperienced individuals. The training covers Blackjack initially (unpaid) and then moves to secondary games which are paid upon successful completion of the first stage and an audition. The role requires adherence to all casino policies, procedures, and gaming laws, while maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere for guests. The dealer is responsible for protecting the game, handling transactions, resolving disputes, and promoting casino events.

Requirements

• Proven dealer experience, or having successfully passed an audition on the assigned game(s) required.
• Basic knowledge of all casino and departmental policies & procedures required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protects and controls specific game assigned.
• Conducts the games in accordance with policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying the Floor Person or Pit Manager of any irregularities.
• Advises the Floor Person or Pit Manager of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
• Informs the Floor Supervisor or other more senior Table Games personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action.
• Utilizes ACT standards at all times while maintaining a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere.
• Notifies a Floor Person of any guest needs; i.e., cocktails, host service, etc.
• Keeps abreast of, and promotes departmental and property-wide promotions.
• Responsible to learn new games when provided appropriate training.
• Maintains current knowledge of gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Meets the department standards for game pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
