About The Position

This role involves interacting with guests and fellow employees in a positive and upbeat manner, anticipating customer needs, and building rapport by remembering guest names and personal facts. The dealer will handle money and chips, possess knowledge of card games, and have a basic understanding of other property offerings. They must be familiar with department policies, procedures, and relevant laws. A key aspect of the job is ensuring customer satisfaction, promoting special offers, and working with supervisors and security to prevent cheating and identify irregularities. The dealer is expected to be a role model, adhere to all policies, and work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed. All team members are expected to follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which involves proactively greeting guests and colleagues.

  • Ability to exercise appropriate discretion in identifying communications of special promotions to customers
  • Ability to coordinate with Table Games supervisor and Security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat and to identify floor irregularities
  • Ability to act as a role model and present oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourage others to do the same
  • Adherence to regulatory, departmental, and company policies
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Ability to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required
  • Adherence to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy
  • Participation in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions
