About The Position

This role requires an upbeat and proactive individual to interact with guests and fellow employees. The dealer will be responsible for familiarizing themselves with guests' names and personal facts, handling chips, and possessing knowledge of card games and other property offerings. A strong understanding of department policies, procedures, and regulatory laws is essential. The position involves striving for customer satisfaction, communicating special promotions, and coordinating with supervisors and security to prevent cheating and identify irregularities. Dealers act as role models, adhering to all policies and working a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime. The company emphasizes an 'Everyone Greets Everyone' (EGE) policy, expecting all team members to proactively greet guests and colleagues, maintain awareness of their surroundings, and present themselves professionally while on the floor. Participation in mandatory meetings and pre-shift sessions is also required.

  • Ability to exercise appropriate discretion in identifying communications of special promotions to customers.
  • Ability to coordinate with Table Games supervisor and Security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat and to identify floor irregularities.
  • Ability to act as a role model and present oneself as a credit to Harrah’s.
  • Adherence to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Willingness to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Adherence to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy.
  • Participation in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
