About The Position
This position involves dealing table games in a casino environment. The training program includes unpaid Blackjack training followed by paid training for secondary games upon successful completion of Blackjack. The role requires the ability to work weekends and holidays. Applicants should be aware that false statements on the application can lead to non-hiring, license suspension/revocation, or termination.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proven dealer experience, or having successfully passed an audition on the assigned game(s) required.
- Basic knowledge of all casino and departmental policies & procedures required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Protects and controls the assigned game.
- Conducts games according to policies and procedures, handling player transactions and reporting irregularities.
- Advises Floor Person or Pit Manager of player disputes or arguments.
- Informs Floor Supervisor or senior Table Games personnel of relevant player information.
- Utilizes ACT standards, maintaining a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere.
- Notifies a Floor Person of guest needs (e.g., cocktails, host service).
- Stays informed about and promotes departmental and property-wide promotions.
- Learns new games when provided with appropriate training.
- Maintains current knowledge of gaming laws and regulations, as well as internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Meets department standards for game pace and accuracy.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
