About The Position

This training position focuses on developing the skills necessary to become a Table Games Dealer. The role involves learning to manage gambling games, handle money and chips professionally, and maintain a positive customer experience. Upon completion of a 90-day introductory period, further training in Roulette is required for continued employment, with eligibility for promotion to Dual Rate Supervisor upon completion. This role is crucial for the effective and efficient operation of the business, requiring regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for an entire work shift with standard breaks.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and uphold 4-star standards.
  • Demonstrated ability performing basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent.
  • Able to communicate clearly and tactfully.
  • Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
  • Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must have a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
  • Essential duties involve performing physical exertion including dexterity with cards, brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks.
  • Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Must complete training for Roulette to continue employment after a 90-day introductory period.
  • Supervising is a requirement of Full Time employment.

  • Eligible for promotion to Dual Rate Supervisor after completing Roulette training.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to respond to visual and oral signals from customers and fellow employees.
  • Learn to pitch cards, handle money efficiently, and handle chips in a professional manner.
  • Conduct gambling games such as Blackjack, House Poker, and Baccarat.
  • Manipulate cards, chips, and gaming devices such as roulette wheels and craps sticks accurately.
  • Keep track of the game and players’ actions.
  • Perform quick basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to accept bets, pay winners, and collect from losers.
  • Responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt.
  • Maintain a superior and courteous atmosphere providing the customer with a pleasant gaming experience.
  • Maintain effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees.
  • Provide personal attention and assistance to customers by verifying customer winnings and explaining gaming rules and regulations.
  • Act to keep customers satisfied and motivated to return regardless of if they win or lose.
  • Wear and maintain all uniforms properly, including nametag and gaming license.
  • Maintain alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of casino operations at all times.
  • Verify customers are 21 years of age or older.
  • Complete training for Roulette after a 90-day introductory period to continue employment.
  • Perform duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, internal policies and procedures, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
  • Pay special attention to underage gaming and make recommendations to Table Games Supervisors regarding alcohol consumption by patrons.
  • Perform other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
