About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the Operating Systems course (ECSE 427), which is also cross-listed with COMP 310. The TA will be responsible for preparing and presenting course tutorials, holding regular office hours to assist students, and assisting with the invigilation and grading of class tests and quizzes. The estimated number of positions is 1, with a total of 94 hours of work per term. The hourly rate is $38.46.

Requirements

• Previous experience with preparing and grading Class Tests is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present all scheduled course tutorials.
• Provide regular office hours to help students with course material related issues.
• Help with invigilation and grading of all Class Tests and Quizzes.
