About The Position

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Workforce Specialist is responsible for creating pipelines that aide in bridging the equity and workforce gaps at Children's Minnesota. The Workforce Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in bridging the equity and workforce gaps at Children's Minnesota. This position will work closely with our Talent Acquisition and operational leaders to understand both short- and long-term staffing needs. Additionally, the Specialist will support our internship program and maintain essential pipeline partnerships within the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying high schools, colleges, universities, and community training programs to collaborate with in attracting top talent. This role reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in workforce development, human resources, education, or a related field.
  • 3 years of HR experience with a minimum of 1 year recruiting experience.
  • Experience attending career fairs and or building relationships in the community.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Must possess strong networking skills with candidates and community partners/schools.
  • Forward thinker and creative with solutions.
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting to groups of people.
  • Strong relationship builder.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
  • General knowledge of HR employment laws and policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Healthcare experience preferred.
