Requirements

• Technical studies in automotive mechanics or related field
• Previous experience in automotive mechanics (1-3 years minimum)
• Hands-on knowledge of main vehicle systems: electrical, engine, brakes, suspension, and air conditioning.
• Ability to use automotive scanners and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting commission-based productivity goals.
• Valid driver's license
• Must have own tools

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive diagnostics using mechanical tools and scanning equipment.
• Execute mechanical repairs such as: brakes, suspension, engine, electrical system, transmission, air conditioning, and other systems.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filters, tire rotation, alignment, and other recommended services.
• Complete assigned jobs within the estimated time to maximize commission and productivity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts used according to workshop protocols.
• Communicate findings to the Service Advisor or Supervisor to ensure correct diagnoses and avoid rework.
• Ensure the quality and safety of each repair before delivering the vehicle to the customer.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and in compliance with workshop safety rules.
• Assist in identifying additional service opportunities to increase workshop revenue and efficiency.
